Rosy brings her body re-education/alignment technique approach to teaching dance together with her fluid choreography to create a technical and fun dance class. We will jump, invert, move in and out of the floor, turn, balance and sweat.

Rosy Simas is a choreographer, teacher and bodywork therapist. She is Seneca from the Cattaraugus reservation of New York. Rosy is a teacher of modern technique, alignment technique, improvisation, contact improvisation and composition. She trained in Minneapolis, MN, New York, NY and San Francisco, CA. Most influential in her training has been Nita Little, Suzanne River, Barbara Mahler and Susan Klein. Rosy is a certified practitioner of Global Somatics™, Massage and Shiatsu. Rosy's choreography has been seen in NY, MN, CA, WI (U.S) and in Montréal (Québec). In 2008 Rosy taught regular technique, alignment and contact improvisation classes at: ACI/Studio 303, Centre Kinesphére and Mange Mes Pied in Montréal, Québec. Rosy currently teaches Advanced Modern and will be teaching Body Re-Education/Alignment Technique in January at Zenon in Minneapolis
